Office Makeup

I work in an office so when I do my eyes I like to keep it simple (depending on my mood too).  I want to share two simple, easy and fast eye applications you can do under 10 minutes.

Soft Eyes and a Bold Lip

Starting with the most simplest and quickest eye look, I used:

EYES -
  • Kiko Long Lasting Stick #39
  • ColourPop 'Amira' (Megan Naik's Collection)
  • Urban Decay Perversion Mascara

After I applied #39 stick, I used a flat shader brush (no name - cheap brand) to smooth out the color. Then using the other side of the same brush, I applied Amira.  And last mascara and I was done.

LIPS -
  • MAC Lip Liner 'Nightmoth'
  • OFRA Lip Gloss 'Bordeaux'

Sultry Eyes and a Soft Lip

I love a sultry eye because it's sexy but it's also easy to do and still save time.

EYES -
  • MAC Paint Pot 'Painterly'
  • Urban Decay Smoked Palette - ' Mushroom' eyeshadow on lid
  • Urban Decay All Nighter Eyeliner 'Perversion'
  • KiKo Stick Eyeshadow #39 on lower lash line
  • Urban Decay e/s 'Mushroom' over #39 on lower lash line
  • Neutrogena Healthy Volume Waterproof Mascara 'Carbon Black' on upper lashes (1 coat)
  • L'Oreal Telescope Shocking Extension Mascara 'Black' on upper lashes (1 coat) and lower lashes (1-2 coat)
I used a flat shader brush to apply 'Mushroom' on my lid; Then I blended the color with Eve Pearl Mixer/Blender 107 brush on to my crease;  I applied Kiko #39 on my lower lash line and then 'Mushroom' eyeshadow over it with the same flat shader brush;  Again using Eve Pearl #107 brush to blend the color on my lower lash line; Urban Decay 'Perversion' on my upper lash line.  I would have liked to use it in my waterline but my eyes were tearing out of control; Last I applied my 2 favorite mascaras.

LIPS -
  • OFRA Lip Liner 'Cherish'
  • MAC Mineralize Lipstick 'Be A Lady'
  • MAC Mineralize Lip Glass 'Be Nice'

Valentine's Day Weekend / Kim Kardashian's 2015 Grammy Inspired look

I hope you had a beautiful and blessed V-Day with your loved one(s), family and/or friend(s).

My husband surprised me with a pre-v-day dinner on Friday at a beautiful Cuban Restaurant that had live music.

On Saturday - Valentine's Day, I had dinner with my family and ate at a Salvadorian restaurant - delicious.

I knew that I wanted to use GOLD eyeshadow or pigment, but for the 2nd time, I used GREEN eyeshadow :)  I was really inspired by Kim Kardashian's 2015 Grammy makeup application created by the fabulous Mario Dedivanovic as well as MAC's palette from the Toledo Collection.

My recreation is a bit more dramatic on the eyes and I kept my face more simple (no glow or blush) than Kim K.

MAC' Toledo Bellgreens Eyeshadow Palette

EYES:
  • NARS Smudge Proof Eye Primer
  • MAC Pro Longwear Pain Pot 'Painterly' used Crown Brush #C457 to apply

    • smudge 'Makeup Ur Mind' over the green e/s with Sigma #219 brush
    • Stila Smudge Stick 'Canary' on the inner to middle and apply 'Glided' over it with Sigma #219 brush
    • MAC 'Lily-White' pigment on the
inner tear duct and under brow bone
  • MAC e/s 'Mylar' on lid
  • ColourPop pigment 'Onai' over 'Mylar' e/s
  • Urban Decay Precision Eye Pen on top lash line
  • Urban Decay 'Perversion' Eyeliner and MAC 'Black Brilliance' Fluidline eye pencil on the waterline
  • Neutrogena waterproof mascara 'Black'
  • Red Cherry Human Hair Lash #102 using Eve Pearl eyelash glue

My mommy and I.  She wanted to eat more than to be dolled up :)

I used 2 of my new friends to contour and highlight from Kat Von D. Shades + Light Contour Palette and Laura Mercier Flawless Contouring Palette.  I LOVE IT!

Lazy Hair Day and Glowing Skin

This look was inspired (not a recreation) by an editorial makeup application I saw in a magazine.  The model had her eyes and face very natural that appeared as if she didn't have any eye shadow or makeup, but a beautiful radiant glow.

During the weekend, I don't like to do my hair unless I have plans so I am usually with a messy bun or wrapped up. I actually like how this combination turned out.
